Project Summary:

 The LACMTA G-Line (previously Orange Line) is an existing bus route within a dedicated corridor running through the San Fernando Valley.  It extends from the North Hollywood B-Line station to the Chatsworth Metrolink Station in the northwest of the valley. 

 The G Line BRT Improvements Project will improve the existing Bus Rapid Transit system by reducing travel times and improving safety.  This will be achieved through design and construction of the project’s key elements including:

1.       Grade Separation at Sepulveda Blvd

2.       Grade Separation and Aerial Station at Van Nuys Blvd / Vesper Ave

3.       Railroad-Style Gated Intersections & Traffic Signal Reservicing for At-Grade Crossings

4.       Bike Path Improvements

Valley Transit Partners was selected to design and construct this project under the Progressive Design-Build delivery method.
